Mom's Krub Ka Ka      Back to the Kitchen

Here's the Krub Ka Ka recipe (I'm glad Mom spelled it out):

--2 cups mashed potatos-add enough milk to make the consistency of thick
gravy. Add 1 egg. Mix well. Add enough flour to make dough easy to
handle. Make into flat dough balls about 4" or 5" in diameter. Place
cooked meat in center and fold in edges to completely cover meat. Have
very large kettle of water boiling. Drop dough balls into the boiling
water and cook until balls rise to the top of water. Cook until dough is
cooked in center. Lift out of water and drain on large plate.
--Meat for center: diced crisp bacon.
--Fry sausage patties. When done, remove sausage and drain grease from
skillet. Slice cold Krub Ka Ka's into skillet and cover with milk. Heat
on low heat until hot enough for serving. Add salt & pepper. Enjoy.

( This is just as Mom wrote it.)
